Lena and Deirdre Win Irish Indoor Titles

Lena O’ Connor and Deirdre McSherry began the 2017 tournament year as they finished 2016, in winning mode, this time adding Irish Indoor titles to their respective lists of achievements.

Lena won the main singles title, while Deirdre teamed up with Jo-Anne Williamson of Cork to win one of the main doubles titles at the RSA Insurance National Indoor Veterans Tennis Championship in Belfast recently.

Irish titles do not come easy and we salute Lena and Deirdre on their respective wins, and also Jo-Anne Williamson who in fact won 2 titles at the Championships.
